UUDEVIEW FOR WINDOWS
Version 1.1
UUDeview for Windows is a powerful package to decode files that you
have received via email or from a newsgroup. It supports decoding of
uuencoded, Base64, BinHex and xxencoded data.
You do not need to edit input files prior to decoding. All you have to
do is to save the emails or newsgroups from your mail or news reader
into a file, and then fire up UUDeview. It will first scan all files,
sorting parts where necessary, and then present you with a list of
decodeable files.
You can also use the program to encode files into a uuencoded or
Base64-encoded text file in order to send it away by email.
For more information, and to see if new versions are available, check
the UUDeview homepage on the WWW at:
http://www.uni-frankfurt.de/~fp/uudeview/
or:

Important Note
--------------
In order to run UUDeview for Windows, you need the Visual Basic 3.0
Runtime Library "VBRUN300.DLL". Chances are that you already have a
copy. If you don't, you need to download the Library before you can
enjoy UUDeview. It is available from many ftp servers, and there are
also links on the UUDeview pages.
How to install UUDeview
-----------------------
Obviously, you have successfully managed to download and extract the
package. There isn't much left to do. To run UUDeview, just double-click
on UUDEVIEW.EXE in the File Manager.
If you are running Windows 95, you can create a shortcut to UUDEVIEW.EXE;
for Windows 3.1, just "drag" UUDEVIEW.EXE from the File Manager and "drop"
it into an appropriate folder in the Program Manager.
Enjoy and Good Luck!
